Hello! My name is Lety Knight and I’m absolutely PASSIONATE about helping women feel empowered and confident about their body’s abilities during pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and beyond.
I’m a wife of almost 15 years and a mother to 3 amazing children ages 9, 6, and 4. My 4 year old son was my first Hypnobaby and the experience changed my life. I had never felt so confident about my body’s ability to create this perfect little being and then birth him so peacefully despite my husband’s absence due to a deployment. I knew I had to share the experience with other mothers and their babies.
After 6 years of being a stay at home mom it was time for me to find a job again. So, off to the workforce I went. I’ll admit I was terrified but, as luck would have it, I stumbled upon a breastfeeding peer counselor position with WIC. I jumped on it and had the job within a few weeks.
Working with the WIC clinic at Centro de Salud Familiar La Fe was an amazing opportunity. Under the supervision of a local IBCLC*, I received my Breastfeeding Peer Counselor certification. I learned so much more about breastfeeding but the time came to leave WIC and go back home to focus on my children and continue my childbirth educator journey.
And so, after a year of reading, studying, reviews, exams, at least 50 hours of hypnosis training, 32 hours of Hypnobabies training, and childbirth education training I was finally officially certified to teach Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis and Childbirth Education to the wonderful women of El Paso, TX.
I’m so proud and honored to teach Hypnobabies and childbirth educations in El Paso because it truly is an empowering and life-changing course. The natural birth community is growing and changing people’s views on what women’s bodies are capable of doing. Our bodies are magnificent, powerful and inspirational.
It is my passion to help people reconnect with their inherent and deeply-rooted ability to birth their babies the way their bodies were built to do so: naturally, comfortably, confidently, beautifully, and most of all free of all fear.
